Pulse is seeking a band 8b Clinical Psychologist to join a dynamic neuro team and older people based within our private client’s service in St Mellons, Cardiff. This position is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time/part-time hours each week in a locum role. The Clinical Psychologist in the post will work in a highly specialist Neuropsychology service for adults with acquired and long-term neurological conditions. The trust caters for people with organic conditions, including dementia, Huntington’s disease, alcohol-related brain damage, and acquired brain injury. The post holder will work alongside a comprehensive multidisciplinary team, including Senior Nurses, Medics, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, a Dietician, and a Music Therapist. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership, support, training, and consultancy to our staff teams and inform service development, working with the current Consultant Clinical Psychologist. It is essential that the psychologist has previous experience within a neuro environment and is registered with the HCPC to be considered for this role. What next?
