Band 7 Biomedical Scientist – Virology – Coventry Position: Band 7 Biomedical Scientist – Virology Banding: 7 Location: Coventry Hours: Core hours Start Date: 22/07/2024 End Date: 18/07/2025 Rate: £28.00 – £35.00 per hour Job Description: The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 7 Biomedical Scientist in Virology to work in a busy NHS hospital in Coventry. We are looking for a Biomedical Scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory’s Microbiology service. The candidate must have management experience. What Will You Be Doing in This Role? As a Biomedical Scientist in Virology, you will use PCR and other molecular techniques to identify significant pathogens. You will also support the senior biomedical scientists in delivering the service and provide guidance to junior members of staff. Essential Requirements for This Position: HCPC registration Experience in Virology, Molecular Biology, or Microbiology NHS laboratory experience Why Work with Pulse?
