Job description We are seeking a skilled and innovative Mechanical Electrical Engineer on behalf of our client to join their dynamic team. You will be required to travel across multi sites including Ballymena, Belfast, Derry, Dublin.This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical diagnostic principles, as well as proficiency in various software tools for diagnostics and testing.The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and have a passion for technology and innovation.Job Duties Include:Travelling to multi sites covered by the business including Ballymena, Belfast, Derry & Dublin.Application of batteries of electric vehicles & working on high voltage (HV) Vehicle systems.Diagnosis, testing, repair & daily follow up of vehicles.Work with the customer quality & after-sales team to analyse failure modes & determine root causes.You will be responsible for hard & soft retrofits.You will receive issues the customer is facing & follow up their processing & communicate the results to customers.You define actions to improve product and process performance/quality.Help repair products returned to the factory as & when required.Training of partners and customers in the field, if required.Always adhere to safety rules and regulations.The Role and Preferred Requirements:Previous experience as a mobile support EngineerMust have diagnostic experience in the HGV/PSV industryMust have NVQ level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringIMI Level 3 & 4 in Light Vehicle Maintenance OR Electric Vehicle beneficial but not essential⁠Must work well within a teamForward thinkerAble to adapt to a fast-paced industryFlexible to work when the business requiresValid Clean Driver's licenseMust be over 25 years oldBenefits:Paid HolidaysCompany PensionUniform ProvidedPay-rate:Between £ - £22phr depending on ExperienceHours of Work:Monday - Friday 07:00-15:00 (Subject to Business needs)
