Qualified Social Worker, Mental Health Team, Blackburn Pay rate £30 per hour Contract role Vitalis are recruiting within for a Qualified Social Worker to work in a Mental Health Team in Blackburn.Blackburn with Darwen have an exciting opportunity for a mental health social worker based within Adult Social Care Mental Health Team at Daisyfield Mill, Appleby Street, Blackburn, BB1 3BL. You will be part of a co-located team working with people with severe and enduring mental health conditions in the Blackburn with Darwen area.The role involves undertaking social care assessments under the Care Act 2014, as well as Section 42 enquiries and assessments under the Mental Capacity Act 2005. You will be expected to have a basic understanding of the Mental Health Act 1983, with opportunities to develop your learning through a generous training programme.It Is a demanding job within a busy service, no two days are the same but we’ve got a really supportive team and strong multidisciplinary working practices in place. We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled Social Worker to join our Children Looked After, Court and Leaving Care Service in Sutton.
