Scientist - Mass Spectrometry - Life Science - 12-Month Contract  We are looking for an experienced Mass Spectrometry Scientist for a fantastic 12-Month contract based in Berkshire. Responsibilities: Perform analysis of protein therapeutics using mass spectrometric techniques Tackle scientific problems Keep accurate records and contribute to authorship of analytical aspects of regulatory submissions, technical procedures, protocols and reports Research specific analytical protocols (literature) and keep aware of latest analytical techniques Assay and instrument troubleshooting Ensure lab equipment is properly maintained and functioning properly; initiate appropriate repair and maintenance Ensure appropriate lab material and consumables availability Lead experimental design and interpretation of results Utilise a range of mass spectrometry technologies Interpret results, draw conclusions and make recommendations Ensure data is captured appropriately in submission ready reports Requirements: PhD or several years laboratory experience or equivalent in academic or industrial setting using mass spectrometry Mass spectrometry expertise Self-management, priority setting and planning skills Establishes/maintains working relationships, sensitive to group dynamics Excellent in relevant IT solutions Very good English literacy Work independently Resilience If this role is of interest to you, please apply now   #LI-JS4
