Interim Procurement Manager role, up to 6 monthsHybrid workingAbout Our ClientOur client is a well-established transport organisation known for delivering innovative and efficient transport solutions.Job Description Key responsibilities include:Managing the full procurement life-cycle from planning and tendering through to contract award and ongoing contract managementDeveloping and implementing procurement strategies aligned with business needs and regulatory requirementsLeading supplier relationship management and performance monitoring to ensure delivery of high-quality goods and servicesEnsuring compliance with procurement policies, legislation, and best practices relevant to the transport industryProviding commercial and procurement expertise to internal stakeholders to support effective decision-makingEmbedding social value, sustainability, and innovation into procurement processesIdentifying and delivering cost-saving and value-adding initiatives across procurement activitiesThe Successful ApplicantA successful Interim Procurement Manager should have:Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the transport, infrastructure, or related sectorsStrong knowledge of the full procurement lifecycle and contract managementExperience developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with business goalsExcellent negotiation and supplier management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentEffective communication and stakeholder management abilitiesExperience working with cross-functional teams and senior managementWhat's on OfferDay rate of £550Hybrid workingNewcastle basedInterim - up to 6 months
