Head of Design Organisation Make an impact on engineering design while developing your career in a highly regulated environment, influencing the structure of the team, enabling it to work more effectively and efficiently, whilst delivering critical design and airworthiness outcomes. Your role Lead the design office and oversee airworthiness complianceEnsure all regulatory expositions and procedures are maintained to standardDrive a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvementSupport, mentor and develop engineering personnel across the office Your experience Technical capability: Experience managing a design office teamCAA/EASA regulations, DOA, DAOS, Safety Management System, ISO standardsExpert knowledge of commercial aircraft management principles and practicesBehavioural capability: People leadership, stakeholder management, cultural and organisational changeEngineering degree required, business or management qualification advantageousCompliance Verification Engineer experience preferredAbility to hold accountable manager responsibility for design office operationsStrong communication and mentoring skills What you will need British nationality and UK residencyAbility to hold UK Security Clearance (SC) requiredExperience in aviation design, airworthiness, and regulatory compliance including CAA, EASA, DOA and DAOS PS: Referrals welcomed.
