EYFS Teaching Assistant Location: Manchester, M8 Start Date: January Pay: £13.69-£15.87 per hour Hours: Monday-Friday, Full-Time Contract: Long-TermReeson Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the M8 area of Manchester. This is a fantastic full-time, long-term opportunity for an EYFS Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their learning journey.The successful EYFS Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the Early Years Foundation Stage, providing high-quality classroom support, 1:1 assistance, and small-group work. This role also includes some PPA cover when the class teacher is out of the classroom, making it ideal for an EYFS Teaching Assistant who is confident and proactive.EYFS Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities: * Support teaching and learning across the EYFS as an EYFS Teaching Assistant * Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils * Assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of engaging EYFS activities * Cover the class during PPA time when required as an EYFS Teaching Assistant * Support children's personal, social, and emotional development * Promote positive behaviour and a nurturing learning environment * Help assess progress and contribute to observations and records * Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents * Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating EYFS setting * Follow safeguarding policies and procedures as a trusted EYFS Teaching AssistantEYFS Teaching Assistant - Requirements: * Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (extremely desirable) * Proven experience working as an EYFS Teaching Assistant * Confidence supporting pupils across Nursery and Reception * Experience covering classes during PPA time is highly desirable * Strong understanding of the EYFS framework * Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)Why Join This School as an EYFS Teaching Assistant? * Full-time, long-term role starting January * Competitive hourly rate (£13.69-£15.87) * Supportive leadership team and welcoming staff * Opportunity to gain valuable experience covering PPA * Rewarding role making a real impact in early years educationIf you are a passionate and committed EYFS Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term role in a supportive Manchester primary school, we would love to hear from you.
