Senior Electrical Engineer

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for Senior Electrical Engineers to join a leading Design and Engineering Company on a contract basis to deliver schemes throughout the Glasgow area within various sectors, including Nuclear and defence. This is a contract role with 2 days on site in glasgow, Inside of Scope of IR35.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will ideally have a specialism in LV, MV, and HV/Power systems. You will provide technical expertise, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. This role offers hybrid working, with 2 days per week on the client site in Glasgow.

Key Objectives:

Provide technical expertise and guidance on electrical systems and designs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective engineering solutions. Conduct assessments and audits to ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices. Develop and review engineering designs, drawings, specifications & documentation. Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery. Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in electrical engineering.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field. Experience in electrical engineering, preferably in critical infrastructure projects. Professional engineering license (PE) preferred. Proficiency in LV, MV, and HV/Power systems. Must have SC Clearance or Ability to Obtain SC Clearance.
