Electronics Test Engineer Are you a skilled Test Engineer with a strong background in electronics and diagnostics? We're working with a global leader in Aerospace & Defence Electronics, who are seeking a dedicated professional to join their growing team in Rochdale.Location: RochdaleRate: £35 - £40 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)Hours: 37.5 per weekClearance: Must be eligible for SC clearance The Role:As a Test Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring product performance through rigorous testing and fault diagnosis down to component level. You'll work across various test environments to support both manufacturing and after-sales diagnostics in a facility that's recently undergone major investment and development.Key Responsibilities:Testing electronic sub-assemblies and full systemsDiagnosing issues and identifying component-level failuresDeveloping and executing both manual and automated test proceduresSupporting Avionics and Environmental test activitiesAnalysing test data and yield trendsCollaborating closely with Engineering and NPI teamsWhat You'll Need:HNC/Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)Solid experience in electronic testing and fault-findingStrong knowledge of both AC/DC power productsProficiency with test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, etc.)Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematicsPrevious experience in an Aerospace, Defence or similar high-reliability environmentImportant:Due to security nature of this role, we can only consider those who are eligible for SC security clearance and have lived in the UK in the last 5 years.Ready to take on your next challenge in a highly respected and innovative engineering environment?
