About the role SEND Tutor (Full Time or Part Time opportunities available)Chorley£30 per hour (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)January 2026 startThe School and Role A Local Council EHC Team are looking for a SEND Tutor who can teach Maths & English to students with EHCPs who are unable to attend education. The desired SEND Tutor will be working 1:1 with students with special educational needs and disabilities. The SEND Tutor role is based in Chorley and long term to provide consistency for students. Sessions can be one - five hours per day (during or after school hours) depending on the student's needs.RequirementsThe desired SEND Tutor will have:- A teaching qualification- Experience of working with students with EHCPs- An ability to plan and deliver Maths and English sessions- A passion for making a difference to the lives of young peopleWhat we offer As a SEND Tutor, part of our team, you benefit from: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
