Position: Consultant in Respiratory Medicine Location: Nottingham Region Contract Type: Permanent/Full-Time Hours: 09:00 – 17:00 (Full-Time) Start Date: Winter 2024 Salary: Competitive Salary About the Role: We are excited to offer an exclusive opportunity for a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine to join our esteemed team in the Nottingham region. This is a permanent, full-time position starting in Winter 2024. If you are on the Specialist Register (or within 6 months of attaining your CCT), this is your chance to step into a pivotal role within our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care and management for patients with respiratory conditions. Perform and interpret a range of diagnostic tests and procedures related to respiratory medicine. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various respiratory disorders. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care. Participate in teaching and training of junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals. Engage in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of respiratory medicine. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in accordance with hospital policies. Participate in on-call duties as required. Requirements: Medical degree and full GMC registration. Inclusion on the Specialist Register in Respiratory Medicine (or within 6 months of achieving CCT). Extensive experience in the field of respiratory medicine. Strong clinical and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
