The company is a medium-sized enterprise, committed to innovation and maintaining high standards in engineering and manufacturing.Job DescriptionPerform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to minimise downtime.Diagnose and repair electrical faults promptly and effectively.Collaborate with the engineering team to implement system upgrades and improvements.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all electrical tasks.Document maintenance and repair activities accurately for reporting purposes.Support the installation of new equipment and machinery as required.Monitor and optimise electrical system performance during night shifts.Provide technical support and guidance to other team members when needed3 on 3 off - 23:00 - 11:00NIGHT SHIFT ONLYThe Successful ApplicantYou will be an experienced multi-skilled Engineer, ideally from a Manufacturing environment, along with:A recognised qualification in engineering or a related field.Proven experience in electrical maintenance and fault-finding within an industrial or manufacturing setting.Strong knowledge of health and safety standards and electrical regulations.Ability to work independently and effectively during night shifts.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.What's on Offer£40,000 Basic + 37% Shift AllowanceMatched contribution pension scheme up to 10% of salary.Life assurance and critical illness cover.Private Medical Insurance for your health and well-being.This is a permanent position based in Plymouth within the life science industry.
