System Support Officer

Job Description The Northern Ireland Housing Executive is seeking a System Support Officer to join the Fundamental Review of Allocations Implementation Project Team in Belfast. This role will support the implementation and enhancement of IT systems, contributing to the successful delivery of a large-scale transformation project by providing system support, assisting with developments, and ensuring solutions meet business and operational requirements. About the role: £16.90 per hour Monday to Friday (9.00 am – 5.00 pm) 37 hours per week Holidays: 35 days pro rata Duration: Temporary, ongoing What you'll be doing in this role: The project includes IT dependencies - working to configure, develop and implement a new Housing Allocations module and a new Customer Applicant Portal to deliver the housing assessment and allocations processes. The Systems Support Officer will be responsible for contributing to collaborative working with NIHE business teams, IT supplier teams and key stakeholders to achieve the system requirements to successfully deliver the Project. This will involve the configuration, testing and implementation of the new Housing Allocations system to facilitate the delivery of the project proposals. As part of the reference checking and vetting process for this position you will be requested to undertake a Basic AccessNI Disclosure. Having a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position What you'll need for this role: A degree qualification or equivalent professional qualification OR At least 3 years relevant experience Experience in supporting requirements for and / or contributing to the implementation / development of new IT systems or enhancements to existing IT systems..
