Test & Assurance Manager

12 month FTC - Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week Hybrid role requiring 2 days a week onsite at Faslane, Helensburgh Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster - Together with the Royal Navy, we're shaping the future of submarine training. From modernising courses and the learning environment, to delivering brand new equipment and teaching in a world class, new state-of-the-art building - our Faslane based team are playing their part to deliver "better trained submariners to the frontline, faster".Your role as Test Manager is to develop, manage and successfully deliver through to Authority approval the test methodology, evaluation, and acceptance across the full range of Royal Navy Submarine Training Centre (RNSTC) programme deliverables over the life cycle of the programme.Job title:Test & Assurance ManagerJob Description:What you'll be doing:Developing and implementing the RNSTC test strategy, framework, and supporting tools and processes.Ensure all testing activities meet defined standards and support strategic goals of the Authority and Team Fisher.Define and manage business and user acceptance testing across all phases.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective input and ownership throughout the testing lifecycle.Oversee the full software testing lifecycle (STLC), including tooling, coverage, and effectiveness.Drive continuous and incremental test delivery aligned with quality standards and programme objectives.What we're looking for:Essential skills & experience:Previous experience of working with 3rd party suppliersProven experience of working on large complex projectsExposure to accessibility, resilience, compatibility, and security testing.
