Known for their collaborative culture and focus on sustainability, they deliver innovative solutions that enhance resilience and enable smarter, greener cities. ________________________________________ About the Role As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will lead the design and delivery of highways, drainage and external works for residential, commercial and industrial developments. The role will see you preparing designs, mentoring graduates, attending client meetings, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, to budget and to technical standards. This is an opportunity to take a lead role in shaping infrastructure projects while progressing your career within a supportive and ambitious consultancy. ________________________________________ The key requirements for this Senior Infrastructure Engineer role are: - Deliver drainage and highway designs for residential and commercial projects, including submissions under S38, S278, S104 and S185 - Prepare drawings and technical schedules for surface water, sewer networks and external levels - Produce detailed highway designs, including vertical and horizontal geometry - Use specialist software such as AutoCAD, PDS and MicroDrainage/Windes for infrastructure design - Attend client and design meetings, representing the business and resolving design issues - Manage project budgets, deadlines and technical compliance - Mentor and support graduate engineers and technicians - Actively pursue professional development and chartered status ________________________________________ Experience required for this Senior Infrastructure Engineer role are: - BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering (ICE accredited) - Chartered or working towards chartership with ICE - Strong experience in residential infrastructure design including drainage and highways to adoptable standards - Hands-on knowledge of design software including AutoCAD, PDS and MicroDrainage/Windes - Experience producing technical approvals for residential schemes ranging from small to large developments - Strong communication and client liaison skills ________________________________________ Desirable knowledge, skills and experience for this Senior Infrastructure Engineer role are: - Experience in flood risk assessments, SuDS design and earthworks modelling - Knowledge of sustainable infrastructure solutions and green city initiatives - Background working across residential, commercial and industrial infrastructure projects ________________________________________ Package and Benefits of the Senior Infrastructure Engineer role: - Competitive salary package with twice-yearly salary reviews - 4% contributory pension and 2x life insurance policy - Enhanced sickness pay scheme - Up to 26 days' annual leave plus option to purchase additional days - Flexible working with adaptable start and finish times - Health cash plan and cycle-to-work scheme - Electric car scheme - Structured CPD, chartership support and long-term career development - Social and community activities promoting a collaborative team culture ________________________________________
