IT Technician

Your newpany A high school in Bury has approached Hays looking for an interim IT Technician for 3–6 months. The role would be working in a high school on site Monday–Friday between 0800-1600. They are ideally looking for someone with school experience. Your new role As an IT Technician, you will:Provide 1st and 2nd line support to staff and students Troubleshooting hardware and software Maintenance of equipment, hardware and software Network diagnostics Installations, repairs and upgrades Helpdesk queries Resetting usernames and passwords What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:Experience of working in an IT Support role (education sector desirable)Good interpersonal skills and the ability to support staff and studentsStrong attention to detail and greatmunication skills Enhanced DBS (we can get on pending) Driving licence and access to own vehicle What you'll get in return Apetitive daily rate of £125–£150 per day, depending on experience.Weekly pay through the agency.The opportunity to gain valuable experience in a school environment A dedicated consultant at Hays to assist withpliance, paperwork, payments and proactively keep looking for future contract work.
