Warehouse Shift Manager – Operations (Permanent, Full-Time) Location: Central Scotland Salary: Competitive + BenefitsRole Type: Full time, Permanent  I am currently supporting a well-established and growing organisation who are looking to appoint a Shift Manager to join their operational team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience leading teams in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, logistics, or similar environment. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of your shift, ensuring staff are supported, workloads are well-organised, and all goods are processed accurately, efficiently and safely. This role would suit someone who enjoys leading from the front and driving performance, while maintaining a positive and professional working environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support Team Leaders and operational staff during your shiftOversee the smooth movement, handling and dispatch of goodsEnsure high levels of accuracy, productivity and customer serviceSupport the planning and allocation of staff, vehicles and equipmentLiaise with internal departments and external partners to maintain service levelsEnsure Health & Safety and compliance procedures are followed at all timesIdentify training needs and support staff developmentMaintain standards of housekeeping and ensure the site is safe and well-presentedComplete shift-related reporting, documentation and incident logs when requiredWhat We’re Looking ForExperience working in warehouse, logistics or operations leadershipConfident managing teams and coordinating daily workflowStrong communication and organisational skillsAble to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing prioritiesA proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvementComfortable working shifts (rotating shifts or fixed nights/days depending on preference)
