With a strong reputation for engineering excellence and amitment to continuous improvement, they offer a collaborative environment where your ideas and expertise will make a real impact.This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Loughborough office with hybrid and flexible working (3 days’ office, 2 days’ remote).Your new role As Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be themercial cornerstone of installation projects, ensuring financial accuracy, contractualpliance, and risk mitigation. You’ll manage cost control, subcontract agreements, and provide technical input to support successful project delivery.Key responsibilities include:Reviewing and negotiating subcontracts to secure favourable termsManaging project cashflow, forecasting and financial risk exposurePreparing and submitting accurate payment applications and final accountsPerforming drawing take-offs, technical calculations and liaising with engineersDriving operational efficiency and promoting Lean principlesSupporting team development through training and mentoring.This rolebinesmercial acumen with technical expertise, making it ideal for professionals who thrive on precision and accountability.What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful, you will bring:A degree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying (or similar) or experience equivalentSound working knowledge of NEC and JCT forms of contractUnderstanding of cost planning, tendering and post-contract cost controlExcellent negotiation, interpersonal and organisational skillsFull UK driving licence.What you'll get in return In return, you will receive:Starting salary up to £60,000 per annum25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidaysFuel cardPerformance-based bonus schemeHybrid and flexible workingFamily-friendly benefitsCollaborative and supportive team environmentOpportunity to progress your career with a growing business and more.
