A well-established, multi-office law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Senior Associate to join its Thames Valley team. The firm has a strong reputation across multiple practice areas and is recognised for providing tailored, commercially focused legal solutions.The Employment team advises a broad range of clients on strategic employment matters, including contentious and non-contentious work. The team supports employers with day-to-day HR issues, complex disputes, and high-level strategic decision-making. It also has expertise in immigration matters and works with senior individuals at pivotal stages of their employment lifecycle.The successful candidate will assist with a wide range of matters, including:Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and staff handbooks.Advising on the full spectrum of employment issues, including recruitment, discrimination, disciplinary and grievance procedures, sickness absence, family rights, contractual matters, unfair dismissal, redundancy, restructuring, whistleblowing and employee benefits.Drafting, advising on and negotiating settlement agreements for both employers and individuals.Advising on potential employment disputes for both employer and employee clients, including day-to-day commercial and strategic advice.The firm is seeking:An experienced Associate, Senior Associate or Legal Director with ideally a minimum of 6 years’ PQE (other levels may be considered depending on experience).A candidate based in or able to commute to Reading, with occasional travel to other offices.An ambitious individual looking to progress their career and play an active role in developing and supporting the local Employment team.
