We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Occupational Therapist with inpatient experience to join one of the leading NHS Trusts in South East England . This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior role and make a significant impact on patient care within a hospital setting. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage a caseload of inpatient clients, delivering advanced occupational therapy interventions tailored to their complex needs. Conduct in-depth assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functions to formulate comprehensive therapy plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the effective coordination and delivery of patient-centred care. Provide leadership and support to junior therapists and therapy assistants, guiding their development through supervision, mentorship, and training. Lead and participate in service improvement initiatives, contributing to the continuous improvement of inpatient occupational therapy services. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to promote recovery and facilitate timely discharge from hospital settings. Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in accordance with NHS standards to ensure continuity of care and legal compliance. Required Skills and Experience: HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist. Extensive experience working as a Band 7 Occupational Therapist with proven expertise in inpatient settings . Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to guide and develop a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in conducting detailed assessments and managing a diverse caseload with complex needs. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work independently, exercise clinical judgment, and contribute to service development initiatives.
