We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat) on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful ENT department.Our client is nationally recognised as being an excellent place to work and deliver care, where they are rightly proud of the 5,500 colleagues who work at the trust and where they are the Health Service Journal's Trust of the Year in 2020.In recent years, the trust have been awarded various plaudits and awards such as Care Quality Commission rating for the trust being Outstanding for care & the fact that they have been ranked as the best NHS Trust to work for in the Midlands and in 2020 we were the third best Acute/Community NHS Trust in England. They do not just care for our patients, they also care for you.The successful appointee will be joining a department, where the appointee will be expected to undertake various duties within the department. These include: Professional supervision and management of junior medical staff including the observance of local employment and human resource policies and procedures, Responsibilities for carrying out teaching, examination and accreditation duties as required and contributing to undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing medical education activity, locally and nationally, Out-of-hours responsibilities, including participation in Consultant on-call rota, Managerial, including budgetary responsibilities where appropriate and compliance withstanding orders and standing financial instructions of the Trust along with various clinical duties which will be discussed at the time of the interview with clinical lead where the appointee will be encouraged to develop their own sub specialty.Our client's location is based in the midlands where they'll have access to excellent public and private schools along with reasonable house prices & excellent railway and motorway links to major cities such as Birmingham and London with very close distance from an international airport.Additional Information - Will consider full time or part time - 10 P.A's - Prestigious NHS Trust - A well supported & friendly team - Must have GMC Registration - Outstanding Schools within public and private sectorsThis is a Consultant in Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat)vacancy.
