This is an excellent chance to step into a senior role, support clinical leadership, and help guide the veterinary team while continuing to develop your own surgical skills.The position offers a predominantly surgical caseload while still incorporating consultations and the full variety of general practice duties. Flexible working options, including part-time arrangements, can be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport clinical leadership and mentor fellow vetsTake a lead role in surgical cases while maintaining involvement in general practiceDeliver exceptional standards of care across consults, procedures, and client communicationWork collaboratively within a friendly, enthusiastic and supportive teamAbout the practiceThis progressive small animal clinic was established in 2009 and has recently relocated to a brand-new, purpose-built facility spanning 4,500 sq ft. The practice has doubled in size and invested heavily in state-of-the-art equipment, including:On-site CT scannerRehabilitation centre with hydrotherapy and physiotherapyDental radiography suite7 consult rooms2 surgical theatresDiagnostic imaging & ultrasound suiteInternal laboratoryGold-standard hospital wardsYou'll join a team currently consisting of 3 Vets, 6 RVNs, a physiotherapist and 6 Client Care Advisors. The caseload is varied, with the majority of procedures kept in-house, and the practice actively encourages certificates and clinical special interests.Working Pattern & BenefitsFull-time or part-time options available1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9am12pm)No OOH, Sundays or Bank HolidaysSalary up to £80,000 depending on experienceExcellent CPD allowance with full support for certificatesOpportunity to work with advanced surgical and diagnostic equipmentSupportive, inclusive culture focused on development and wellbeingLocationSituated in the heart of Staffordshire, the area offers a fantastic quality of life with superb transport links.
