Customer Solutions Director - Data Centre Construction - London/UK (hybrid) This is your opportunity to work for a global data centre operator that has been recognised for as one of fastest growing and well-known groups in the industry. Having received significant investment, this established data centre group is in their next phase of growth and require the expertise of a Customer Solutions Director. They have established partnerships with many of the well-known technology powerhouses and tailor to their development to their client's requirements. Responsibilities: Pre-Sales Leadership: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategic pre-sales activities, including solution design, proposal development, and customer presentations. Industry leadership: Participation in industry event panels/talks, extoling the Kao Data technical/design leadership, creating and maintaining thought leadership across design, construction, operations and sustainability. Technical Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of M&E engineering to understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions that align with their needs. Solution Design: Develop comprehensive, high-quality technical solutions that meet customer specifications, incorporating elements such as power distribution, cooling systems, redundancy, sustainability and scalability. Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their long-term business goals, and providing solutions to support their growth Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience will also be considered. University graduate (or equivalent). Full UK driving license. Ability to commute into London regularly for weekly meetings. Ability to commute into our data centre locations – Harlow, Slough, Manchester and Northolt, when needed. Ability to travel for customer meetings.
