Job DescriptionJob roles – Service Technician Location – Eastbourne, East Sussex Salary – £25,000 – £30,000 OTE I am currently working with a busy main dealership in Eastbourne, East Sussex who are seeking a Service Technician to join their busy service department. This is a great opportunity to work for a long established, main dealership – and this role will offer career prospects and development. Service Technician job responsibilities- Carrying out car and van servicing to manufacturer standards, Carrying out car and van repairs Carrying out diagnostic tests to vehicles, quickly identifying problems Carrying out MOT test Liaising with and updating the Service Manager on work in progress Advising Service Receptionists about required repairs in detail Working with the Parts Team ensuring required parts are available Maintaining vehicle repair and service records To maintain your work area, tools and equipment to a high standard The role of Service Technician offers you the opportunity to work as part of a team, using your technical expertise to use and solve complex technical issues, whilst gaining new skills and exposure to new vehicle models, methods of working and full manufacturer training.
