Salary £12.60 per hour | Casual Hours, per week | South RibbleInternational Sponsorship – this role is not open to international sponsorship. Lancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire, serving over 60,000 school meals per day and we are looking for committed individuals to join the service. You will work as part of a team in the Pendle area, providing high quality, healthy, balanced meals for school children. Key responsibilities: Prepare the dining area for service, including the moving and setting up of furniture and putting away. Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages. Clean all equipment and catering areas. What we are looking for: Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative. Good customer care skills. Previous catering and food preparation experience would be desirable. Working Hours/Days: Monday to Friday. Term time only. Casual Hours per week. You will be required to provide a car for use in connection with the duties of this post and must be insured for business use. However, we may consider you if you cannot drive because of a disability.
