The Pharmacy team at Pulse are currently recruiting for a Band 7 or 8+ Pharmacist/Pharmacy Technician Digital Services in Taunton. The successful Pharmacist will be required to work full-time. This role is available to start ASAP; the pay rate for this job is up to £30 per hour. Position: Pharmacist/Pharmacy Technician X2 Banding: 7 or 8+ Location: Taunton Hours: Full-time Payrate: Dependant on Experience Start Date: 01/08/2024 Duration: 3 Months About the role: The appointee will exemplify excellence and mentor staff in service optimization and change management, focusing on the ePMA system’s rollout. They will champion complex clinical changes and digital medicines management initiatives. A senior clinical responsibility in ePMA delivery is central to this role, ensuring compliance with local and national standards. The role is crucial for seamless digital integration across various health services, maintaining dialogue with stakeholders, adhering to organizational protocols, and achieving set goals. The individual will lead and support staff during system implementation, handle deployment-related inquiries, and work closely with teams to guarantee system and process integration, ultimately facilitating the realization of projected benefits. Primary Responsibilities : Guide and assist staff throughout the implementation of the system. Address technical, procedural, and clinical inquiries associated with the system’s rollout. Collaborate with leadership and staff proactively to ensure the adoption of the system and processes. Mandatory Qualifications and Experience : Must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) . Proven experience as a pharmacy professional in a hospital environment. Proficiency in using electronic prescribing and medication administration systems. Demonstrated leadership in driving change and transformation. Quick adaptability to new and unfamiliar settings. Autonomous work capability. Awareness of personal limitations and the discernment to escalate issues beyond one’s expertise. 2 Years NHS experience. Essential Skills : Outstanding communication abilities. In-depth understanding of clinical risk and information governance. Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for efficient travel between locations. Competent IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft software. Why work with Pulse?
