We deliver high-quality early years education and care, nurturing creativity and curiosity from the very start of a child’s journey.We are seeking a passionate and experienced Baby Room Lead to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the care and development of babies aged 0–2 years, ensuring their safety, happiness, and well-being. You will act as a Key worker and lead a small team to uphold the highest standards of care, safety, and developmental support.Monday to Friday, 8:00am–3:45pm. An additional hour is required on Wednesdays for the weekly staff meeting (5:00pm–6:00pm), which will be paid. Key Responsibilities:Establish a secure and consistent routine to create a calm, organised atmosphere.Lead and motivate a team of practitioners in delivering outstanding care and education.Plan and implement engaging, child-led experiences that support learning and development.Proactively suggest improvements to enhance provision and practice.Maintain a safe, hygienic environment in line with health and safety guidelines.Build strong relationships with children and families, sharing regular updates on progress.Monitor and assess individual development, maintaining accurate records and planning next steps.What you'll need to succeed Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent)Substantial experience working with infants and toddlersStrong leadership andmunication skillsPassion for early years education and child developmentSound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) frameworkWhat you'll get in return Term time only contactPension schemeOpportunity to work in an expanding setting
