The role:We’re assisting a B2B specialist within the hair and beauty industry as they look for an additional designer/artworker to work within their busy marketing team. This is a key role within the team, where you’ll work across digital campaigns and social content through to print materials and packaging. You’ll develop concepts, identities and visual styles that fit specific target audiences and you’ll ensure all the artwork is delivered according to brand and corporate guidelines, maintaining consistency across all brand visuals. You’ll sit within an inhouse marketing team with other designers, reporting into a marketing manager, and you’ll manage multiple projects at once – ensuring you keep to deadlines. There’s also an opportunity to work on video projects, for social media, but also for promotional videos and those for training- both for team members and for customers. What we’re looking for: We’re looking for experienced designers with strong digital experience as well as design for print knowledge – more junior candidates may be considered providing they can demonstrate a strong commercial portfolio. You’ll be confident across Adobe Creative Suite, and any experience of motion graphics, video editing, or web design would be useful. You’ll be creative, but also be happy to work within strict brand guidelines and undertake artwork duties. You’ll have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a commercial design role What’s on Offer? This is a 100% office based role (sorry, no exceptions) located outside of the city centre, but with good transport links and plenty of free parking. There’s lots of opportunities to learn and develop and really hone your design skills. We’ve helped a number of designers get roles here over the years, and they’ve all stayed which is a great testament to the opportunities available with this organisation. Salary is between £28-35,000 dependant on experience.
