Your new role As Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services. Your responsibilities will include:Sourcing & Purchasing: Identifying and selecting suppliers to meet business needs, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to maintain optimal availability.Purchase Order Management: Creating accurate POs aligned with budgets and procurement policies.Suppliermunication & Relationship Management: Liaising with suppliers to confirm orders, resolve issues, and maintain strong partnerships.Cost Control & Replenishment Planning: Minimising holding costs and planning timely reorders to meet demand.Negotiation &pliance: Supporting contract negotiations and ensuring adherence to procurement policies and legal standards.Reporting & Collaboration: Maintaining accurate records and working closely with internal teams to align procurement with business goals.What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in a similar procurement role, ideally within the manufacturing sector.Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and strong IT literacy.A solid understanding of procurement processes and best practices.Excellentmunication skills and the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.A proactive, accountable mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service.CIPS or equivalent is desirable but not essential.What you'll get in return Apetitive salary of £45,000 per annumThe opportunity to work with a respected and innovative organisation.A collaborative and supportive team environment.The chance to make a tangible impact in a key business function.Full-Time, Permanent position, Monday - Friday.Flexible working options available.
