Position: Specialist Registrar (SpR) in Respiratory Medicine Location: Wiltshire, UK Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (with a view to extend) Duration: 17th June 2024 – 30th August 2024 (initially) Hours: 09:00 – 17:00, Full Rota covering days On-Call: To be discussed at point of booking Start Date: 17th June 2024 About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Specialist Registrar (SpR) in Respiratory Medicine to join our team in Wiltshire. This is a full-time position available from 17th June 2024 to 30th August 2024, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will work from 09:00 to 17:00, covering a full rota opportunity, including days. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients. Conduct comprehensive respiratory assessments and develop management plans. Manage acute and chronic respiratory conditions. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy, and imaging studies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care. Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and case discussions. Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records. Adhere to clinical guidelines and best practices in respiratory medicine. Requirements: Medical degree and full GMC registration. Experience in respiratory medicine at the registrar level. Strong clinical and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to continuous professional development and education.
