Job DescriptionPost Title: Secondary Teacher - Supply - Various Areas within Highland CouncilSalary: £33, - £50, pro rataTeachers who register for supply teaching can be asked to undertake supply teaching at both short and advance notice in their local areas, and periods of supply can vary from one day to several weeks or months depending on the kind of absence to be covered. Even if teachers can only make themselves available for one day a week, or at certain times of the year, the Highland Council would like to hear from them. This may be of particular interest to teachers who are currently not working, and who have perhaps not worked for some years. If necessary, training will be provided locally for any teachers who feel that they would benefit from this. You must not have lived or worked in any country outside of the UK or those listed above for a period of three months or more, while aged 18 years or over, within the past five years.
