Built in the 1900's, The Park is just a stone's throw from Bedford Park on the outskirts of the town. Beautifully refurbished with its fireplaces, flagstones floors and beamed ceilings, the pub is stylish, cosy and comfortable. We have a spacious restaurant, relaxed conservatory and a light airy garden room leading straight out onto our urban garden, all which provide a choice for dining or relaxing.

Position

Your role as Deputy General Manager:

  • Overall management of the pub, restaurant and hotel in the absence of the Manager
  • Maintain front of house standards and drive excellence in food, hotel, service and drink quality
  • Adhere to all legislative requirements for people, safety, licensing and maintenance of records
  • Conduct regular stock counts and compare to usage reports including waste records to identify opportunities for tighter control
  • Create and maintain a motivated team with excellent standards identifying talent and ensuring succession
