Meraki Talent has partnered with our international professional services client to search for a Private Client Tax Manager, this firm is on an exciting growth journey and we are looking for an experienced manager for their Private Client Tax team. Our clients Private Client Tax team support a wide range of clients including entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals and international private clients, advising on their personal tax affairs. You will be working alongside an experienced advisory and compliance team across a number of locations. This role will be a mixed compliance and advisory role and will require experience not only in individuals but preferably international private client compliance and advisory work. Experience in advising on trusts from both a compliance and advisory perspective is preferable but not essential. You must be able to use your initiative to work both independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment, to deliver personal tax compliance services and ad-hoc advice to a portfolio of clients. Responsibilities will include: Manage your allocated portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with the deadlines and agreed client service standards Assist the international team with manager level reviews outside of your own portfolio when required. Identify and provide ad-hoc advisory services (both private client and across other teams) to your clients, including coaching and developing the junior team with advisory projects. Overseeing internal processes to ensure client data is obtained within set timescales to aid preparation of tax returns and provisions, and that returns and relevant forms are submitted on time. Interact with clients and answer queries via email, phone, digital platform or letter Develop and maintain relationships with clients through positive interactions in the course of service delivery Undertake business development to win new work and clients for the Firm Overseeing fee management process Identifying opportunities for process improvements and enhanced efficiencies within operational tax compliance procedures Experience and skill set required for the role: Part qualified/qualified accountant, CTA/ATT or qualified by experience Strong understanding of compliance requirements in Private Client Tax (particularly with an international slant), focussing on individuals but other experience such as partnerships, trusts etc Experience of managing a team Advisory experience would be preferable At this firm you will have tremendous opportunities that will meet your career aspirations, working in a progressive, energetic and stimulating environment alongside supportive and engaging professional teammates.
