Level 3 BSL Teaching Assistant – Newcastle Secondary Schools Are you passionate about making education accessible for every student? We’d love to hear from you.At Protocol Education, we work closely with secondary schools across Newcastle who are looking for skilled BSL Teaching Assistants to support deaf and hearing-impaired students in the classroom.The role at a glance: Start date: ASAP Location: Newcastle secondary schools Contract: Full-time Pay: £100 – £120 per day (paid weekly via PAYE) What you’ll be doing: Providing one-to-one and small group support using BSL Helping students access lessons, boost confidence, and achieve their potential Working alongside teachers and SENCOs to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment Supporting with both academic progress and social interaction What we’re looking for: BSL Level 3 qualification (or above) – essential Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or SEND setting Patience, positivity, and the ability to build strong relationships A proactive attitude – ready to support both students and staff Why join Protocol Education?
