Adult Social Worker – Oxfordshire – Safeguarding Team

An exciting job role has recently become available in Oxfordshire. They are looking for a new member for their Adult Safeguarding team. This role offers a total of £38 for the contract duration.Role Overview Crucial role in supporting vulnerable adults in the community Work closely with individuals, families, and professionals. Promote independence, well-being, and social inclusion Compassionate approach and strong assessment skills contribute to positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assessments and Support Planning Conduct comprehensive assessments considering various factors. Coordinate services with health professionals and community resources Safeguarding and Risk Management Promptly identify and respond to safeguarding concerns. Assess risks and implement interventions. Ensure safety and legal compliance. Direct Work with Clients Provide emotional support, advocacy, and access to services. Facilitate group sessions to enhance social skills. Collaboration and Multi-Agency Working Liaise with healthcare professionals, police, etc. Advocate for clients’ rights in multidisciplinary meetings. Documentation and Record Keeping Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance. Qualifications and Experience Degree in Social Work or equivalent. Registration with Social Work England. Experience in adult social care. Knowledge of relevant legislation. Additional Information Competitive salary based on experience. Full-time or part-time options. Permanent or fixed-term contract.
