Consultant name: Jim Hines Call for more information on this position: Job reference: CM-111 Date posted: 10/11/2025 In -House Data Centre Critical Shift Engineer: Sussex Basic Salary is £58,000 Plus Annual review and career enhancements Overtime Annual Bonus 10% basic salary Free Parking on Site (Out of Congestion Charge Area Private Healthcare Pension Continental Shift Pattern 7 am to 7 pm Days and Nights Regular Overtime due to Shift Cover £2000 Bonus for acheiving or having LVAP £2500 Bonus for acheieveing LVAP and HVAP We have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Biased Data Centre Shift Engineer to be based at one of the legacy Data Centre Campus’s in and around Surrey and Sussex, the site consists of 3 Data Centres all with dedicated engineering maintenance operations team in place however this adds to the collaborative and cohesive working environment that exists. These sites have been earmarked for some massive CAPAX project enhancement modernisation and to this note any engineer looking to join will be part of the system upgrades and site improvement which will make it a very interesting place to work, in terms of manufacturers courses on new plant and systems being installed and commissioned. Working directly for one of the top five data hosting company globally this also comes with a number of career opportunities down the line however in the first instance we are in search of a conscientious, hardworking, and resolute technically minded Electrical biased Shift Engineer. High Voltage experience is a plus however not essential but a comprehensive and in-depth working understanding of All electrical UPS systems, generators, BMS, fire suppression systems, general HVAC and facilities maintenance procedures and processes and a good understand of cooling and mechanical plant is advantageous.
