They are investing in the business to enable them to double their turnover and volume over the next 5 years. As Procurement Manager for a food manufacturing business, you’ll report into the Supply Chain Director. It’s a great time to join their business as they invest substantially in new premises, warehousing, and facilities to allow them to double their turnover and volume over the next 5 years. My client is one of the largest food manufacturers in their product category, they supply the biggest brands in UK retail and have a leading brand. This role will suit a professional who has worked as a Buyer or in a procurement role for a UK Food or a FMCG manufacturing business and who are looking for an opportunity to step up as Procurement Manager with a business that offers coaching and career development. Day-to-day you’ll reporting to the Supply Chain Director and working closely with other departments within the company, you will be responsible for managing our supply base and delivering the supply chain strategy. To qualify for consideration, you’ll need: 2-3 years of experience in a Buyer or Procurement Manager role, within the UK food industry Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and decision-making skills Analytical, organisational, and reporting skills Ideally CIPS qualification or ambition to study towards it Good understanding of contract law and procurement processes If you are looking for an opportunity to join a business that is expanding rapidly and want to join them on their journey of growth, then apply today with your CV or contact Hannah to discuss further.
