Job Title: Qualified Social Worker – Disabilities TeamLocation: ShropshireRate: £32.00Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for registered and experienced Qualified Adult’s Social Workers to join a busy Disabilities Team based in Shropshire. What will your responsibilities be? In this role, you will manage a complex caseload with supervision, ensuring compliance with policy, procedures, and legislation. You will prepare statements and represent clients in court, working within legislative frameworks. Using professional judgment, you will make complex decisions involving service users and needs-led assessments. You will assess risk and need in complex cases, conduct safeguarding investigations, and maintain updated care plans. Additionally, you will develop care plans with other agencies, ensuring they reflect service user wishes and lead to personalized care. Negotiating care arrangements with individuals, you will balance choice with budget constraints. Collaboration across multi-agency teams and direct work with adults and their families are key aspects of this role. Effective communication in high-risk situations, modelling strong communication and decision-making skills, is essential.
