Our client base is diverse, from sole traders to multi-million-pound corporates, and we deliver exceptional service tailored to each client’s goals.Your new role As a Tax Senior, you will play a key role in supporting senior accountants and directors with technical tax queries while managing your own portfolio of private clients. This is a varied role thatbinespliance and advisory work, offering plenty of scope for development.Your responsibilities will include:Managing day-to-day personal taxpliance for a portfolio of individuals, including high-net-worth clients, business owners, and directorsPreparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns, utilising junior team members where appropriateAdvising colleagues and clients on a range of tax issues, including capital gains tax, VAT, and aspects of corporation taxMeeting prospective clients to understand their needs and explain our servicesLiaising with HMRC on client mattersAssisting senior managers and directors with tax advisory projectsWhat you'll need to succeed A background in personal tax within a UK practice, ideally with awareness of a broader range of UK taxesATT qualification or QBE/CTA part-qualified statusA proactive, detail-oriented approach and strongmunication skillsConfidence working directly with clients and supporting colleaguesExperience using IRIS software (advantageous but not essential)What you'll get in return Your birthday offFlexible working and free parkingBupa cash plan health insurance andpany pensionFresh fruit in the officeRegular team socials — from escape rooms to golf and flight clubsAnnual team away dayOne additional day off each year to support a charity of your choice
