Your new role We’re currently recruiting for a dedicated Year 2 teacher to join a friendly, one-form entry primary school in Coventry. This full-time role starts in the spring term and continues through to the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the class, including planning, delivery, and assessment, supported by amitted and weing team.In this role, you will:Design creative and structured lessons that support early learning and build confidenceEstablish a nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe, encouraged, and ready to learnDeliver the KS1 curriculum with enthusiasm, adapting to meet varied learning needsPromote positive behaviour and routines that foster respect and independenceEngage in school-wide activities and contribute to a collaborative staff cultureHelp shape a learning experience that celebrates every child’s progress and individualityWhat you'll need to succeed QTS and recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2A confident grasp of the primary curriculum and ability to plan and assess effectivelyA warm, flexible teaching approach with strong behaviour managementExcellentmunication skills and a team-oriented mindsetAvailability to begin in January andmit through to the end of the academic yearWhat you'll get in return Access to professional development and teaching resourcesEasy-to-use systems for managing your schedule and wellbeingOngoing support from your dedicated Hays consultantOpportunities to work in schools that reflect your teaching philosophyA £250 bonus for every qualified teacher you refer to us
