We are working with a busy, fully equipped small animal practice seeking a dedicated vet to join their supportive and friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced vets and confident newly qualified candidates who want to grow their skills in a dynamic, mobile and in-clinic environment.The RoleFull-time: 9:00 - 19:00, 4 days per weekWeekend rota: 1:3 or 1:4 Saturday (9:00 - 14:00 in-practice, 14:00 - 19:00 home visits and euthanasia work)Mix of work:Mobile theatre visits (with nurse support)Home visits (sole charge, no nurse)In-practice consultations and surgeries, including referral-level proceduresVaried caseload covering soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, imaging, dermatology (monthly), and cardiology with referral support availableWork alongside a strong clinical team including soft tissue and imaging certificate holders and visiting specialistsAbout the PracticeFully renovated, purpose-built facilitiesMultiple theatres, including two dental theatres and three clean theatresState-of-the-art equipment: digital X-ray, dental X-ray, endoscope, bronchoscope, laser, IDEXX labSeparate cat floor, isolation units, and kennels for dogs and catsStaff facilities include a kitchen, shower, and staff room; on-site parking availableFamily-oriented team ethos with socials, collaborative culture, and supportive environmentMobile and clinic-based practice, enjoy a mix of in-practice surgery and mobile visitsAbout YouTeam player with excellent clinical skillsAble to work up cases independently and provide outstanding patient careConfident in both mobile and clinic-based settingsOpen to a busy but flexible and supportive work environmentThe PackageSalary: Dependent on experience (£50k - £55k typical for 5 years' experience)Holiday: 28 days per yearCPD allowance: £1,500 (certificate support available)Benefits: Private health insurance, in-house therapist, RCVS & VDS fees covered, bonus/commission opportunities, Vehicle provided for mobile workRecruitment ProcessInformal face-to-face discussion to meet the team and tour the practiceOption for a trial day to experience the role and meet clientsFull support throughout the interview and onboarding processThis is a unique opportunity to join a busy, modern practice where you can develop your clinical skills, enjoy a diverse caseload, and be part of a close-knit, friendly team.
