What You'll Be Doing - As Part of the Team

As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll play a key role in the full lifecycle of pump assembly - from initial build to service and repair - across both Original Equipment (OE) and aftermarket projects. You won't just be assembling components; you'll be a vital part of a team committed to delivering quality engineering solutions with pride.

Your day-to-day will include:

Collaborating with your team to assemble new pumps and refurbish older units to the highest standards.

Taking ownership of the quality of your work - self-checking, reviewing, and documenting each step with care.

Rotating across different areas within assembly to share knowledge, maintain flexibility, and keep things fresh.

Supporting improvement initiatives that streamline processes and reduce costs, helping the team work smarter together.

Assisting with testing and performance validation of equipment when needed, including hydro, noise, and vibration checks.

Occasionally supporting customer service work on-site, acting as a representative of the team's high standards.

Your Background

You'll ideally have:

A completed mechanical apprenticeship or time-served experience, with 3+ years in a fitting or heavy manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and a drive to implement better ways of working.

Confidence in reading and following work instructions, along with great communication skills - you know how to speak up, share knowledge, and ask the right questions.
