They have progressed and now have a loyal client base across the UK, with the Head office residing in London.They deal with an extremely high-quality of work and they continuously punch above their weight.The Role:As a Finance Director you will be responsible for:Oversee daily accounting and legal cashier operations.Supervise and train accounts team, monitor performance, and allocate tasks.Prepare monthly management accounts, KPIs, and cash flow reports.Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.Monitor income, expenditure, and budget compliance.Post monthly journals (accruals, prepayments, payroll) and process VAT returns.Perform bank reconciliations, client-to-office transfers, and supplier invoice postings.Handle payroll processing and PAYE/NI payments.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Manage SAR audits and liaise with the bank and HMRC.Support senior management with analysis and address partner and staff queries.Requirements:Minimum 4 years of experience in finance within a law firmRecent experience working under SRA Solicitors Accounts Rules in a law firm is essentialYou will have strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a teamSalary & Benefits:Salary is highly competitive, negotiable and dependent upon your level of experience.
