This primary school has a great team dynamic, supportive senior management and is looking for a real team player who is flexible and keen to get stuck in.The role of sports teaching assistant:As a sports teaching assistant your role with vary day to dayWorking within the classroom assisting the class teacher with lessons and behaviourAssisting and sometimes running PE/sports sessionsRunning lunchtime and after school clubsBenefits of the sports teaching assistant:Weekly pay of £400 - £550 per week dependant on experienceTerm time only - additional school holiday days available8:30-4:30pm, Monday - FridaySupport and learning courses offered on the jobCamden location, great London transport linksDesirable qualities of the sports teaching assistant:Sports related degree/qualification or equivalentMinimum 3 months child related experience either classroom based, or coaching/summer clubs etcPassion for education and well being of studentsEnhanced DBS (Reeson education are able to help you apply for a DBS)This role is the perfect opportunity for someone looking for classroom-based experience before undertaking teacher training.
