HGV Class 1 DriversPAYE Rates: £195.86 day rate + Overtime  Weekly Pay, Holiday & Pension Location: South Norfolk  Job Title: HGV Class 1 Drivers Hours: Monday – Friday + every other Saturday Driver Hire Norwich are recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 Drivers for a reputable client based in South Norfolk. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain industry-recognised qualifications including a Live Bird Certificate and Forklift Licence. Available Roles:  Live Bird Transportation Ensuring deliveries of birds are completed in a safe and controlled manner including safely loading and unloading birds. Completing paperwork as required and adhering to all on site health and safety rules. Keeping an accurate record of driving hours / working hours and live bird records including permits, health certificates and delivery logs. Hatchery Drivers Delivery of eggs to hatcheries in a temperature controlled environment. Loading setters with eggs. Manual handling when transferring eggs. Completing paperwork as required, managing the controlled temperature and making records of this. Adhering to all on site health and safety rules. Keeping an accurate record of driving hours / working hours. Average shifts are 10 – 12 hours for both roles, working Monday to Friday + every other Saturday. The Requirements: Full UK HGV 1 Driving Licence. Current CPC and Digital Tacho card. Held HGV 1 licence for 1 year minimum – preferred. Maximum 6 penalty points (no CD, IN, DD, or DR endorsements). Excellent knowledge of Driving Hours and WTR. Benefits:  £195.86 day rate + hourly overtime rate.
