Fabulous opportunity in Bristol for a System Integration Engineer to join leading global 5G wireless company. The Systems Integration Engineer will deliver innovative functionalities to customers and optimise next-generation of Open-RAN base-station products in LTE and 5G NR Cellular Networks and be responsible for: Systems integration engineer for 5G/4G/2G basestation products Platform bring-up - BIOS, OS, networking, platform services Integration of complex multi-node, multi-applications embedded systems onto Linux GPP-based server platforms (Intel, AMD, Arm) End-to-end full telco stack bring-up, from core network to radio Performance evaluation and analysis Suitable Systems Integration Engineers will have excellent academics and proven expertise. You should be able to demonstrate: Independent problem solver with strong software skills Effective team player, able to work as part of a global multidisciplinary team Desire to work in a mixed office and lab environment Practical experience of Linux architecture alongside networking Working experience in Docker containers, ideally cloud native deployments It would be advantageous to have: C/C++ experience of high-performance, ideally real-time applications An understanding of one or more wireless or telecoms standards Experience of participating in plugfest or other IoT events Experience of RF test equipment Superb opportunity here to join a brilliant, exciting team.
