There's never a dull moment at Fairfield, every day is differentThe support that we provide is centred around assisting individuals to identify and work towards their goals. We work with the individuals to develop personal plans that reflect their choices, individual support needs and capabilities.You'll support individuals to manage their own homes increase and maintain their independence and encourage and support them with personal care and their social, health and wellbeing needs.The people we support all have different hobbies and interests too, so we’ll need you to bring creativity and enthusiasm into supporting them to access leisure activities, engage in meaningful activities and take part in hobbies and interests that are important to them, both within their home and out in their local communities.Being a Support Practitioner is more than just a job, there’s no better feeling going home after every shift knowing that you’ve made a positive difference in someone’s life.About YouAt Cornerstone, we don't recruit on experience and qualifications; we're more interested in what you as a person will bring to our team We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification tooAll we’ll need you to bring is: -A caring and compassionate attitude and approachThe ability to work well in a teamConfidence to go in the water as swimming is a regular activityGood communication and organisational skillsA positive attitude with a willingness to learnConfidence in the use of computersIt would be great is you also have a full clean driving license and at least one years' experience on the roads as some of the people we support have their own mobility cars, however this isn't a deal breaker for the right candidate.Shift PatternsAs we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual the shifts will involve early mornings, days, evenings and waking nights.
