Finance ManagerLocation: NormantonSalary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOEFull-time, Permanent - December start available for the successful candidateRobert Half Accountancy and Finance is recruiting for a Finance Manager on behalf of a thriving manufacturing business based in Normanton. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller , you will take full ownership of the finance function. In this hands-on role, you will oversee all day to day finance operations whilst managing a small team.Key Responsibilities:Manage the month-end process, including preparation and review of journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation/amortisation, and revenue recognitionConduct P&L analysis and provide insightful commentaryPrepare and monitor weekly group cash flow reportsPerform balance sheet reconciliations and revenue adjustmentsMaintain the fixed assets register and oversee forecasting and analysisMonitor project costs and manage weekly payment runsReconcile multi-currency bank statementsManage expenses and credit card transactionsProduce weekly management reports and prepare payrollDrive best practices and efficiencies across the finance function Oversee a small finance team, ensuring deadlines and accuracy are met.Support the year-end audit process by compiling and organising required documentationRequirements:ACCA / CIMA qualified or QBE (Qualified by Experience)Proven experience in a similar Finance Manager role - manufacturing experience advantageous Excellent analytical skills with the ability to provide clear financial insightsStrong leadership skills with experience overseeing a small teamComfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of the finance functionWhat's on offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageCareer development and progression opportunities.Hybrid work model and flexible working hoursRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
