Mechanical Maintenance FitterOur client is currently looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters / Maintenance Technicians to work as part of a team, covering mechanical maintenance activities on their customer's site in Erith. Must have experience with mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing or process environment. NVQ level 3 / City and Guilds Level 3, or similar in a mechanical engineering discipline required. Hours of Work: 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday (42.5 hours paid basic) Overtime available to suit the site needs Job Location: Erith Rate: Up to £20/hour (depending on experience) Call out rates and overtime available Key Responsibilities: Working as part of a team to provide planned preventative maintenance in accordance with site schedules Carry out fault finding and mechanical repairs during breakdown situations Work to safe systems of work and other documentation provided and always with yours and other’s safety in mind Communicate effectively with other team members Identify the correct equipment required for each task and utilise that equipment safely Key Individual Skills and Attributes: Be organised, adaptable and flexible in your approach to work Work safely paying attention to detail A positive, can-do attitude and problem-solving skills Excellent time keeping and attendance Energy and enthusiasm for the role
